Levi Golf Local rules
1. REINDEERS
If the reindeers are in the way of your intended swing, you may drop the ball without penalty to the nearest point of relief, but not nearer the hole.
2. ROADS AND PATHS
If the ball drops on to road/path, you may drop the ball without penalty to the nearest point of relief, but not nearer the hole.
3. INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE
All the paths and bridges are integral parts of the course. Ball has to be played where it stands or deemed to be unplayable.
4. BALL OUT OF BOUNDS ( RULE 27-1 APPLIES)
If the ball is out of bounds you may not search the ball.
5. GROUND UNDER REPAIR
Area defined with blue-white stakes is ground under repair from which play is prohibited. Open raked and planted areas are also ground under repair from which play is prohibited. Relief as provided in Rule 25-1. Through the green a ball which comes to rest in or on an aeration hole may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole.
6. WATER HAZARD ON THE HOLE 13 AND 17
If the ball goes to water at the hole 13 or 17 and last crosses margin of hazard between red/red-green stakes: a ball may be dropped in the area marked (DZ), under penalty of 1 stroke.
7. RED-GREEN STAKES ON THE HOLE 13 AND 14
Searching and playing the ball on the area, which is marked with red-green stakes, is prohibited. Relief as provided in Rule 26-1.
8. ANTHILLS ARE GROUND UNDER REPAIR (RULE 25-1B APPLIES)
Remember also local rules, which are valid on all the courses in Finland. ( stones in bunkers , covers of sprinklers, distance stakes, electric wires at the course)
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES
Matchplay: Loss of hole
Strokeplay: Two strokes
Distance stakes have been measured to the middle of putting green.
Every player must have their personal equipments ( clubs, bags) while playing.
